Bespoke Penstock Solutions
The core of our business is the design and manufacturer of penstocks for the harshest environments to the most exacting standards. Having delivered projects to UK, UAE, Qatar, Sudi Arabia, and Hong Kong. We know what it takes to satisfy even the most challenging brief.
Drive Gear
International Penstocks Lab. can design operating equipment to suit both manual and powered applications for new or existing products. With a wealth of knowledge in design of extension spindles, gearboxes, and actuators, wither its be a simple refurb or full off grid actuation solution, our team have the skills to deliver.
Standard Penstocks
International Penstocks Lab. design and manufacture two ranges of wall mounted and channel mounted penstocks from 150 to 3000 mm.
Our penstocks are manufactured in stainless steel grades 1.4301 (304) or 1.4401 (316), with the specific material being selected according to client specification and/or the environment in which the penstock will be installed.
Penstocks are suitable for water and wastewater application.
Stop Logs
International Penstocks Lab. manufacture Stop logs in Copactix, Aluminium, Stainless Steel.
Stop logs can be produced from 300 to 6000 mm, depending on the application and the client specification.
Our range of stop logs are designed for three-sided sealing in either on or off seat operation and have a flexible construction suitable for wall or channel mounting.
Manufactured to suit site specific installation requirements and operating water pressures
Flap Valves
International Penstocks Lab. manufacture and flap valves in HDPE, cast iron and stainless steel.
Flap valves and flap gates are a type of non-return valve (NRV) used to prevent flooding and to stop water back-flowing up pipework.
Our range of flap valves and flap gates includes wall mounted flap valves, flange mounted flap valves. As standard our HDPE flap valves have a 50 year design life. Manufactured to suit site specific installation requirements and operating water pressures.
We are able to design and manufacture bespoke flap valves for square, rectangular or elliptical openings or provide additionally reinforced ballast flap valves for when the valve is subject to wave action.
Valves
International Penstocks Lab. can offer a range of knife gate, butterfly valves, and non return valve from 50 to 2800 mm.
Flanges range form PN10 to PN40
Valves can be supplied with handwheels, electric actuators and other actuation systems to suit the application.
