Introduciton

International Penstocks Lab. manufacture and flap valves in HDPE, cast iron and stainless steel from 150 to 3000 mm based on modular construction principals. 

Flap valves and flap gates are a type of non-return valve (NRV) used to prevent flooding and to stop water back-flowing up pipework.

Our range of flap valves and flap gates includes wall mounted flap valves, flange mounted flap valves. As standard our HDPE flap valves have a 50 year design life. Manufactured to suit site specific installation requirements and operating water pressures.

We are able to design and manufacture bespoke flap valves for square, rectangular or elliptical openings or provide additionally reinforced ballast flap valves for when the valve is subject to wave action.

Stainless Steel

Cast Iron

  • Ø80 to 2000 mm diameter
  • 400 to 2000 mm square
  • Metal to metal seals for durability and low leakage rates
  • Robust construction for durability
  • Wall or pipe mounted
  • Double door flap valves available for reduced head loss
  • Integral cast lifting lugs as standard
  • Seals resistant to erosion by grit
  • Double hung to ensure full face sealing

Knife Gate Valves

Metal seated general purpose Knife Gate Valve of rugged construction for use with slurries. Removable door for cleaning valve body ‘in situ’, particularly suitable where junk materials and debris are present.

International Penstocks Lab.  can offer a range of knife gate valves from 50 to1200 mm.

Knife gate valves can be supplied with handwheels, electric actuators and other actuation systems to suit the application.

Butterfly Valves 

Size: 50 to 2800 mm 
Flange: PN10 to PN40  

International Penstocks Lab. can offer a range of butterfly valves from 50 to 2800 mm.

Butterfly valve can be supplied with handwheels, electric actuators and other actuation systems to suit the application.

 

Delivery: 4 weeks 

Non-Return Valve

Size: 50 to 2000 mm 
Flange: PN10 to PN40 

International Penstocks Lab. can offer a range of non return valves, flanged and wafer designs from 50mm to 2000mm, PN10 to PN40.

Non return valves can be supplied with lever and weights and in non-slam versions to suit the application.
